The first AWEAY Family Bicycle Day was sponsored by Metro Parks to attract undeserved populations. The event offered the following: free snacks, free drinks, free bouncy houses, free mountain climbing, free face painting, free target shooting, free canoe rides, and free bicycle rentals. Adults and students were captivated by the pelts displayed and job postings from the Ohio Department of Wildlife and the information available about the Urban 4-H clubs from Central State College.
